This privacy policy governs the processing of personal data and the use of cookies on the website https://mustonenfest.ee (the website) of MTU Mustonenfest (hereinafter MustonenFest).

DEFINITIONS

Processing of personal data means any operation performed on the personal data of a user of the website (the user), including collection, processing, storage, correction or erasure.

Users are all persons who visit the website, use its services, or send information to MustonenFest, for example by reading articles, ordering services, or contacting MustonenFest by email.

Services means all free and paid products and services offered by MustonenFest.

PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

By using the website, the user consents to the processing of their data in accordance with this privacy policy.

Through the website, MustonenFest collects the following personal data of users, in the ways described below:

  • the user’s email address, when the user joins a mailing list or sends an email;
  • the user’s name and email address, when the user makes an enquiry;

website visit statistics, by means of Google Analytics and the Facebook Pixel.

USE OF PERSONAL DATA

MustonenFest uses personal data:

to provide a service to the user, for example to enter into and perform a contract, to communicate with the user, and to send invoices;

to send notices of new articles, services and campaigns to the user’s email address, but only with the user’s prior consent.

MustonenFest uses website visit statistics to improve the user experience and to market the website more effectively.

The user may at any time object to the processing of their personal data, except where processing is necessary to perform a contractual obligation, including the provision of a service.

DISCLOSURE TO THIRD PARTIES

A third party is a contractual partner of MustonenFest that processes personal data and whose product or service MustonenFest uses to provide services to the user.

For its day-to-day work, MustonenFest may use third parties that provide:

  • an email delivery and management system,
  • website hosting,
  • analysis of website usage statistics,
  • use of social media and analysis of social-media statistics,
  • use of accounting software.

In addition to the third parties named above, MustonenFest passes users’ personal data to cooperation partners, and only to the extent necessary to provide the service to the user.

RETENTION AND SECURITY

MustonenFest keeps personal data for as long as necessary for the purpose, or as required by law. Accounting records, for example, are kept for seven years after the end of the financial year, while an email address on a mailing list is kept until the user asks for it to be removed.

MustonenFest takes all reasonable measures to protect the personal data it processes. Only authorised persons may access personal data in order to change or process it, and every user’s personal data is treated as confidential.

USER RIGHTS

The user has the right, at any time:

  • to ask for access to their data;
  • to require personal data to be corrected or supplemented, or erased where the law so provides;
  • to require that the processing of personal data be restricted;
  • to require personal data to be transferred.

To exercise these rights, the user should send a request to that effect to info@mustonenfest.ee.

If the user is on a MustonenFest mailing list, they can remove themselves from the list and opt out of further messages via the link at the end of an email.

To limit the use of cookies, the user can make the relevant choices in their browser settings.

If the user believes that their rights have been infringed in the processing of personal data, they may contact the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate.

COOKIES

Cookies are used on the MustonenFest website in order to provide a better user experience, to market more effectively, and to collect usage statistics.

By using the MustonenFest website, the user agrees to the use of cookies in the manner described in this policy.

Google Analytics may still collect data on user activity without using cookie files. To stop Google Analytics from using such data, the user can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

MustonenFest reserves the right to amend this privacy policy unilaterally and without prior notice, in order to keep it in line with the law. The latest version of the privacy policy is always available on the website.
